I potr like if I read this book during summer I’d give it aleksandar 5 stars but for now it’s going to be 4 stars. Too chick kniige for my taste, but it was an interesting premis, getting aleksahdra second chance to meet the love of your life and I was interested to see where the author went with aleksabdra. But ultimately, Calling Romeo is a book that builds on its imperfections. When I was researching my latest book, Love From Paris, I rented a small apartment and spent my days getting lost in the maze of streets, breathing in the atmosphere and trying to walk in the footsteps of my main characters, Ruby and Emmanuelle.

The story is set in Paris and whereas half the novel is written in the modern day, the other half is set in Paris before the outbreak of the Second World War.

As the words on the cover saythe city of love captured my heart yet again. I did a lot of research on this time period and travelled to Paris several times where I rented an apartment and soaked up the city and its secrets. It was sweet and funny and I loved exploring the question of ‘what if you could do it all over again’. I’ve read a couple of Alexandra Potter’s books now and while they are a little on the unrealistic side, they are fun and upbeat.

In this book, Tess has broken up with her boyfriend and wishes that she’d never met him.
