Any documents presented under the Ursg shall be held at the disposal of the Beneficiary. Where such documents do not appear so to conform or appear on their face to be inconsistent with one another, they shall be refused.

The URDG apply to all guarantees, from those payable on simple written demand, to those requiring the presentation of a judgment or arbitral award. Each rule is concisely expressed and easy to understand.
