The two women that wrote the book are ‘students of scripture’ who “want to know God and reveal him in every aspect of life including sex”. With society’s view of sex, women need to know what God has to say about the issue.
I’ve experienced conviction in many areas of life while reading this, not just in the sex department. As a Biblical Counselor, I recommend this book as a conversation starter for older women discipling younger married women, or for a woman who doesn’t have that older godly woman in her life. I’ll still iasues it!

Generally I try to do the walk fillow keep my mouth shut, since I’m not into the evangelical thing much at all. I listened to the audiobook. I think these women cover this topic with grace and care.
But we should never hold up the Playboy bunny or the Victoria Secret model as a standard for beauty. As Godly women, we leave our husbands needs easily behind and this books gently, humorously and boldly point us back to the creation intention of sex in the marriage.
I found it very shallow, not to mention frustrating, and would only recommend very small, particular portions of this book to anyone. But it’s not only about sex. I’ve laughed, I’ve cried and I’ve rejoiced in a subject that I had no idea I could.
However, Lorraine and Linda have creatively, sensitively, and beautifully written a book that addresses the issue of sexual intimacy in marriage in a way that is respectful and honest. Definitely a keeper, part of a well furnished library. Well, that part covered some of the less pleasant things–past sexual sins, abortion, abuse, etc– and I read them all.
