So it’s hard to buy some of the claims they make, especially when they’re alongside statements like “this one person cured their cancer by changing their thinking!
I’m fine with playing along with different ways of thinking and finding meaning, but I’m not fine txntra obvious, outright BS.

It’s a book about the mind by someone who is clearly not up to date on all the new knowledge we’ve gained on how the brain actually works. We have to know that the attainment of enlightenment completion, buddhahood, totality, or whatever we want to call it is not only a theoretical possibility but something that people like us can and do actually achieve.
He is funny, straightforward, humble, and full of joy. Excellent description of Tibetan Buddhist Tantra; the transformation of desire and pleasures into yesh experiences of deep penetrative awareness; this is absolutely amazing! If we do not generate the qualities of a true guru within us, how can we provide ultimate benefit for anyone else?

However not all books give a lasting insight which one can trace through years. Easy to read and understand. What are the results? The other thing I don’t like about this is the emphasis on accomplishment.

During the reading of this book, I started to enjoy the beauty of the people but then be very happy to have seen them and totally let them go, energetically. It also seems somewhat heterosexist. You will discover that tantra is more about seeing bj as a God and about having the ability to transcend into a better place in the death. Got a little redundant. Ultimately, the book sounds like more of a sales pitch than anything, constantly boasting of all the amazing things that will happen if you follow what they say, constantly reminding you to ydshe your critical thought while also claiming to be something that is “scientific”, that you can try the techniques out for yourself.

He was a wonderful person who had the unique quality of conveying the true message of the union of compassion and wisdom. Overall, this book just rubs me the wrong way.
