When Hawk’s sinister half-sister collaborates with a bevy of other schemers to try to drive kosie wedge between the couple, only Krysta can sense the looming danger that threatens both Hawk and the peace affected by their union.
Krysta arrives in disguise and Hawk’s attracted to her, though fightint that since his betrothed will arrive any day soon. Dream of Me reminded me so much of a Johanna Lindsey book in a good way. Their relationship was complicated from the beginning. Jul 22, Jen at last!

This wasn’t even because there was anything wrong with the story.
She is pretending to be a servant and ensconce herself in Hawk’s stronghold so she can keep an eye on him. There was also tons of sex with no chemistry. But Lady Krysta arrives bearing many secrets — including her gift for seeing what others cannot. Litton excels at depicting realistically flawed, charismatic protagonists, and this tale, despite its one-dimensional secondary characters and predictable plot, is a fitting finale.
I picked this up hoping for something closer to Outlander in terms of having the characters react in a way that was realistic to the times.
BUT, the point remains that these two men do not know these women at all.
