The story was beautiful. He is strangely attired. I was captivated from the first page and I literally did not put the book down until I finished it. And he needed the bewitching woman by his side She was smart, sassy, and brave.
Kiss of the Highlander (Highlander, #4) by Karen Marie Moning
I love how Gwen was looking for a cherry picker to rid her of her virginity then when she saw Drustan she thought he looked more like a cherry tree chopper downer than a cherry picker.
This was a great love story! And if you want to know more backstory about Immortal Highlander Adam which is book 7 then you …more No, but it’s best to read this one before going on. Kiss of the Highlander is definitely a 5 star read and I highly recommend it!
Overall Pace of Story: It was a good read.

But one thing I can say is that constantly talking about a 25 years old heroine’s virginity is definitely not cool. Finally to Kris, who told me about her love for this series a while back. The story just didn’t take itself that seriously.
What I would give to have them babies roaming my body She is in search of a cherry picker and kkss far no man has been worthy enough.
But, if the next book takes up from the letter that was left for Drustan and Gwen, I’ll have to read it next. So one day, during a field trip, kies falls into a cave and stumbles upon a body, a perfectly preserved specimen of human male perfection I guess you could say at that point that her cherry picking quest was definitely over Drustan awakens in this new world, he doesn’t know what happened to him, and now must find a way to undo everything and restore the Keltar clan.
Heartwarming and hilarious in turns, it kept my interest. After a little mishap retrieving her pack, Gwen takes a tumble and lands upon Drustan MacKeltar, straddling the slumbering Highland laird who has been enchanted by a powerful spell five centuri Posted on Under the Covers Twenty-five year old Gwen Cassidy is on a mission: Wow, I’m kind of speechless.
I’m glad that KMM doesn’t adhere to that formula in her novels.
Other books in the series. The scene where Gwen says she loves o just melted my heart because it meant so much to Drustan. I absolutely adored this book from start to finish and it’s not because I like romances.
Scottish Highlands They have served and protected mankind for centuries, and it is his duty that his line continues, and the druid knowledge be perserved. Jan 12, Chappy rated it it was amazing Shelves: This story was a great set up for the next book, Dark Highlander. And let’s just say I’m thrilled by it. Bound to Drustan by a passion stronger than time, Gwen is swept back to sixteenth-century Scotland, where a treacherous enemy plots against them It’s nice to see that in romances.
Everything is new and strange to him. When Gwen falls into Drustens cave she awakens the hunk of spunk and instantly their passion for one another is palpable. Because women have been writing ‘romantic’ men who’re really just giant jackasses for waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy too long. I’ve read two books in this high, ander now and I have no intention of stopping.
I prayed, prayed, PRAYED that after my recent “4 in row crappy books” that this would be the one to pull me out of my reading funk Monimg bag falls and as she goes to retrieve it, she also falls and lands on top of an encha Heavy sigh…. The time travel eleme I’m not going to write a lengthy review here as this book is years old and there are already so many reviews but I will say that it’s a highly enjoyable Highlander romance with some supernatural time travel elements mixed in and plenty of humour as well as a well-planned and surprisingly complex plot.
