The brief sections discussing Wess’har anatomy were, lne, rather laughably ridiculous. You’ve successfully reported this review. Political action sci-fi, so there is not a lot in the way of gun fights or physical struggles, but it is well written and the characters really drive the story.

Shan’s Wess’Har DNA leads her into a position of influence among the matriarchs, but she and Arras have a hard time adjusting to the new life. Therefore it was with a high level of expectation that I had put this novel on my kindle and settled down to read.
